Islamic Relief announces the following vacancy for its office in West Bank.
Job Title: Health Projects Coordinator
Ref: HPC-WB-07-2014
Location: Ramallah office (with frequent travel to Hebron and Jenin).
Duration: Eight months
Type of contract: Part time.
Main Duties:
-Ensure all activities are implemented accordance to project action plan.
-Produce progress, monthly reports and any update on each activity, achievements and constraints faced, and produce final reports.
-Monitor project outcomes and to ensure all activities are completed in a timely and efficient manner.
-Participate in developing tenders documents.
-Coordinate awareness activities for medical staff as required.
-Ensure that supplies, equipment etc. are delivered in a time.
-Follow-up with ministry of health to ensure that all equipment purchases received and fixed as required.
-Technical Supervision on the installation and follow up medical equipment setup.
Candidates must possess the following competencies and skills:
-Bachelor degree in Biomedical Engineering or other related fields from an accredited university.
-Five years’ experience of working in a similar role with INGOs.
-Experience of building capacity and sharing knowledge.
-Excellent written and spoken English.
-Ability to multi-task effectively as well as display professionalism and confidence.
-Strong communication, interpersonal & technical skills.
-Knowledge of computers and relevant software applications.
