Yamsafer is an online hotel
booking website, it brings fast and easy hotels and events booking to
the middle east through unprecedented rates
In this position you will be responsible for developing, optimizing and designing Yamsafer web applicaions, as well as contributing to all aspects of the product development and release cycle. This position offers a true ground-floor opportunity for a programming or development professional to join our exciting, fast growing company.
Skill Requirements
-Strong knowledge of PHP5, JavaScript, Linux shell, and SQL
-Good knowledge of front end technologies such as HTML, CSS, jQuery.
-Strong CMS experience with open source systems such as Drupal, and Wordpress
-Strong Object Oriented Programming skills. Experience with major PHP frameworks (CodeIgniter, Zend, etc.)
-Extensive experience with LAMP stack and open source software in general
-Experience with MySQL
-Experience with creating and consuming RESTful APIs
-Experience in an Agile development environment, particularly SCRUM.
-Must have excellent problem solving skills and love technical challenges
-Must be self-motivated, and able to multi-task
-Must be able to take initiative to be productive and efficient
-3+ years of relevant experience
