The Palestinian Fund for Employment and Social Protection (PFESP) is announcing a vacancy for
financial officer to be located in its office in Ramallah.
The PFESP is an autonomous and legal national entity; its aim is to generate sustainable and decent
employment opportunities for job seekers, focusing on youth graduates and marginalized groups, and to contribute in reduction the unemployment rate and poverty alleviation, and achieving social justice and promoting sustainable development.
Job Requirement
1Full knowledge of using accounting software, Bisan Software
2Balancing, registration and analyzing financial & activities of PFESP accounts, according to financial and accounting locally & international standards.
3Preparing financial planning and suggestion to be presented to the CEO.
4The familiarities fund raising and methodologies.
5The familiarities of Credit & Soft Loans.
6Assist the CEO of preparing budget & Reporting of financial & accounting statement as needed.
7Present ideas and initiatives relating to operational funding with donors and stakeholders.
8Willingness to execute any needed tasks requested by the CEO.
9Working under pressure, and team player.
Educational Qualifications and Professional Experiences
1BA degree in Finance or Accounting / preferably MA degree.
2Five years experience in financial management and accounting management as well as credit and
loans mechanisms.
3Good usage of computer programmes.
4Experience in working in the financial software specifically Bisan programme.
5Experience in preparing financial and accounting budget and reporting.
6Good Command of English and Arabic.
